Introduction
Hello, hello, hello...Quinn here. I decided to create the band a blog. I, along with whoever else in the band wants to post stuff, will be using this blog for such things as updates on how we are doing and what we are up to. I will also be using this as a place to post thoughts and what not.
Anyways, this coming Wednesday the band will be headed up to the Big Apple for the day. As much as I would like to say that it is for record label purposes, it is actually just to spend a day in NYC. I personally am just anxious to hit up the Virgin Megastore in Times Square and get my hands on a few albums that I cannot find in my local record shop. I am thinking about checking out the new New York Dolls album, as I have been seeing some great reviews for it. I also caught them on Conan a view weeks back and they were quite enjoyable. There was a band that broke up last year called Elevator Division and they put out a great sounding album called "Years" and I intend on tracking that down. You should definitely check them out. They are big on the 80s and have great tone.
On the songwriting front, Keith and I have been talking about different ideas we have, and I am most excited to get together and create a few new skeletons for songs. We should practice sometime soon, as well, because we have a show next Friday (the 18th). If you are reading this, and are free, you should come out. I just hope it goes better than our Recher show. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed playing the show, but things didn't go as planned. We had a number of people tell us that we did a nice job, but I am very critical of myself when it comes to these things. Haha...anyways, we should only get better from here on out.
Well, I'm sure I will bother your eyes later with some words about something, but until then...
