Hello, We Haven't Spoken In A Long Time...

Hello,

I have been terrible with posting here. How is everyone doing? As Keith mentioned below, we plan to work on new stuff and we plan to record a lot over break. The nice thing about college is that you get this ridiculous amount of time off.

I actually have almost two months. I just don't know what to do with myself. I have been reading On the Road by Jack Kerouac. Honestly, the main reason I picked it up from the library was because a character from the book (Sal Paradise) is mentioned on the first track of The Hold Steady's new album, Boys and Girls In America, which is one of my favorite releases of 2006. And, if I remember correctly, the name of said album is actually a quote from On the Road. Anyways, I have been reading and writing a ton...nothing that special, but I am trying.

It should be most interesting to experiment with our sound as both Keith and Brett will have added new pedals to their effect arsenals. Some might say that using effects takes away from the guitar's sound, but I consider them to be additional colors to add in the pictures created through the music. They definitely add a new element.

Christmas is upon us and We'll be getting some stuff done over the next two months. We are hoping to demo all of our songs and write new songs. I'm pretty sure I speak for all of us when I say we want to do somethign over the summer time. But back to the present. Brett and I have been diving into some new effects lately so it should be interesting how our new tones turn out. Welp see ya later!
