So yesterday we had the chance to practice for the first time in a long while. We got around to almost finishing a song we've been toying with. Then we went to mall ala Robin Sparkles (watch the video on the myspace). Then I got Dan and Keith Pepsi Holiday Spices from the time capsule that is my fridge. A little Damon's sampler and some Deck the Halls. A real classy Christmas movie.

Sunday, November 05, 2006

I haven't posted in a really long time, so I figured I aught to. Friday at St. John's was lots of fun playing our new songs for the first time. Keith got to muff, I got to phase, Dan got to be Dan, and Quinn got to decide that a tuner pedal is needed.

Ten Car is this coming Saturday, so if you're not busy feel free to come out and keep us company on Veterans Day.

Peace, love, and many thanks,
Brett

I guess the rest of the band bailed on the blog, but I'm gonna keep the words flowin'. Last night we headed out to St. John's after a week of anticipating the show. We got there and were ready to hit the stage. We played six songs in thirty minutes, and it was pretty fun. The crowd was nice, a lot more people watched us than usual. We didn't get a huge response, but I think people enjoyed the music and the gushers as well. I had a great time playing, got to whammy and big muff. Got to play with my severed hand, it was good times. After the show we hung out with friends or old and new, and it was a great night capped off with a trip to miccy D's for some true life jersey shore.

Don't forget, this coming satuday (11th) we are playng at Ten Car Pile-up in Towson, come out for another fun night of music!
