Fletcher's was good fun, and i think we have another show there June 10th, but now we are going to record songs.

Hopefully we get our myspace player filled up with a bunch of songs.

Show this Friday at Fletcher's. We'll be opening our set with a brand new song about a man named "Ryan Roberts". It ought to bring down the house.

In other news, pedals are really sick and I just purchased a Boss CE-2 that should be arriving in the mail sometime this week. I can't wait to get this sucker. It is going to wail.

School ends next week, and we are going to attempt to record an EP in my basement. Wish us luck.

Well, as Keith said, it's spring. Time for nice weather. I'm very excited about the shows we have coming up, since we've spent the last couple months really trying to write better material and get to know our already written songs in and out. Also, we've all spent a significant amount of time practicing on our own in addition to as a band and I think it's really benefitted our set.

March

It's March now, time for some different weather to creep up on us. Our spring breaks are next week which means we will probably practice and do some things. We'll see what happens. We've got a show lined up in April at St John's in Pheonix, we've got 3-4 new songs i think, also don't play all the same stuff as we have in the past. I'm guessing there will be half new stuff half old stuff. I dunno, it's anyones guess. But it will be the first time we've played in 2007 I think, so that'll be cool. I can't remember the last time we played live...maybe november? I dunno, doesn't matter. I hope we get some more new songs that sound amazing. I also kinda wanna record but don't know if we are ready yet. Watching Funky Monks gets you inspired to do things.

I think the one thing I'm trying to do right now is find my chemistry and where I fit musically in the band. I never really step back to hear what I'm playing in the whole mix. i think once I start floating in the mix, I will be really happy with our direction, musically.

Welp, there's an update for March!

Well, we demo'd all of our songs over our winter break, and now we are working on practicing for the future. We are trying to get on a bunch of shows, but we'll see how it goes. Hopefully if we make some money we'll be recording in the studio this summer. Also, hopefully a new demo will be up in the near future. Practice tomorrow, but nobody is going to Monster Jam. Tonight, Me, Dan, and Brett went to the middle of nowhere after some fine dining at Damon's.

Other news with me, I got a new bass and a few new pedals so that is cool. I'm gettin some awesome sounds to play for your ears.

Also, do yourself a favor and eat at Red Lobster.

Recording

This week we took a step towards making January purposeful. On Tuesday, we gave recording a go, but we weren't feeling that take. So, on Wednesday and Thursday, we gave it another go. The demo is up on our myspace, feel free to give that a listen and let us know what you think.
